| Study Title: | Functional MRI Activation of Cognitive Networks in Adolescents and Young Adults with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) |
| Study Description: | The study involves completing several paper-and-pencil and computer tasks that measure thinking abilities (e.g. memory, problem-solving, language) plus a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan. The MRI will take approximately 80 minutes to perform. Half of the scan will be a functional MRI where participants will be asked to perform different thinking tasks while in the scanner. Prior to entering the scanning room, training will take place on each computer task. In total, the study takes about three hours to complete with breaks. The study will take place at York University in Toronto (near Keele Street and Steeles) in the new MRI facility. Participants will receive $20 and be reimbursed for parking / transportation costs. |

| Who can participate: | Individuals aged 14-25 who were diagnosed with multiple sclerosis prior to age 18. |
