Study Title: Exploring the Lived Experience of Health and the Influence of Gender for Women with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in Canada
Rationale: Understanding How Gender Impacts Health for Women with MS
Study Description: Our research team is seeking to understand the lived experience of gender and how this intersects with the health and physical, social and mental well-being of women with MS in Canada.

We are looking for 12-20 participants who:1) the ability to fluently speak and read the English language, 2) self-identifying as a woman, 3) over the age of 18, 4) having a diagnosis of MS, 5) the ability to make decisions independently, 6) be residing in Canada, and 7) have ability to make decisions independently

Additionally, pre-screening questions will include if participants self-identify as a person with a disability/ episodic disability, or a member of a BIPOC and or/ 2SLQBTQ+ community and determine their geographical location to allow for a meaningful sample that represents with MS across Canada.

What’s involved? A 60-90 Minute Interview will be conducted either in-person, or via telephone or secured video conferencing. The data will be analyzed for trends and themes and disseminated at academic conferences and published in an academic, peer-reviewed journal.
