Studies

Study Title: Maternal Disability and Child Health Care Study
Rationale: Little is known about how mothers with disabilities access health care services for their children.
Study Description: We are a research team conducting a community-engaged research project on the experiences of Ontario mothers with disabilities accessing child health care. We want to know what made it harder or easier for mothers to get health care services for their children, how these experiences have impacted both them and their children, and what should change about child health care for mothers with disabilities and their families. Interested participants may contact wiresearch@utsc.utoronto.ca or call 289-804-6101 to learn more about this study. Eligible participants will be invited to participate in a 1-hour online interview to share their experiences. This will help our research team create tailored supports for mothers with disabilities and their families.
