Study Title: Priorities for Addressing How Future Research in MS Considers Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Rationale: In 2024, we did a review of research studies done about MS in Canada. There was a lack of understanding of the traits of people with MS that are relevant to health equity, such as race, ethnicity and gender. Existing research was also not inclusive enough.
Study Description: The purpose of the study is to gain consensus on how future research related to MS considers equity, diversity, and inclusion. We will gain consensus using the Delphi process. The Delphi process goes beyond standard surveys. It gives group opinions back to individual participants over multiple survey cycles. This process gathers opinions from many individuals and stabilizes them into a group consensus. This study is designed to have at least 3 survey cycles. Each survey will be 2-3 weeks apart. Each survey will require 15-20 minutes.

Starting Date: 2025-04-15
Ending Date: 2025-07-15
Who can participate: Lived experience with MS (person with MS or family member) of at least 2 years, able to communicate in English, willing to complete all surveys, able to respond within 2 weeks for each survey. If you are interested in participating in the study, please go to this web address:
